RECOVERING A SENSE OF THE SACRED with Anne Baring
Anne Baring 1931 – (MA Oxon; PH.D. (hons) in Wisdom Studies, Ubiquity University 2018) was educated in England, France and America.
She is a Jungian analyst and the author and co-author of 7 books including, with Jules Cashford, The Myth of the Goddess; Evolution of an Image (1992); with Andrew Harvey, The Mystic Vision (1995) and The Divine Feminine (1996); and with Dr Scilla Elworthy, Soul Power: An Agenda for a Conscious Humanity (2009).
Her latest book, published in 2013 and re-printed in 2020, is The Dream of the Cosmos: a Quest for the Soul. Her book for children, The Birds Who Flew Beyond Time, 1993 and 2004, was based on the Sufi text, The Conference of the Birds, and was illustrated by the late Thetis Blacker.
The ground of all her work is a deep interest in history as well as the spiritual, mythological, shamanic and artistic traditions of different cultures. Her work is devoted to the recognition that we live in an ensouled world and to the restoration of the lost sense of communion between us and the invisible dimension of the Cosmos that is the source and ground of all that we call ‘life’.

(Kent) Always a sensitive, I began formal training in energy healing with Rev. Ron Moor in 1987. After becoming David's client, I apprenticed with him and eventually became his partner in this work. Since 2000, I have offered astrology consultations and am currently a member of the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School where I am absorbing a new and exciting astrology paradigm. Additionally, I was ordained in 1989 in the Order of Melchizedek by Rev. Daniel Chesbro and hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Fairfield University.
(David) Since 1980 I have used inquiry and biofeedback on myself to help identify and release my own energetic blocks, barriers and false beliefs; then after much practice went on to develop the skill of scanning a client's body resulting in "seeing" a hologram of their energy flows, or any sticky energy patterns. Then I describe the patterns and connect them with specific traumas, false beliefs, and "hang-ups". Together with the client, I can dialogue and understand what and where these ideas--attitudes-- came from; ideas they previously operated from, and now make new decisions in present time to aid their survival and increase their happiness. I may facilitate the process with hands-on energy clearing. Usually people feel lighter and relieved at this point with the new understanding and perspective.

With the death of her husband and life partner in 2015, there was a cataclysmic shift in her life. Nick is the host of the Rebel Spirit Radio podcast and teaches philosophy and religious studies at a number of California community colleges.
He has an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Denver, and Ph.D. in Philosophy and Religion from the Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness program at the California Institute of Integral Studies. His academic research focuses on ecospirituality, environmental ethics and comparative religion and mysticism.
As host of Rebel Spirit Radio, he engages in conversation with writers, artists, educators and spiritual leaders to explore topics in spirituality, consciousness, the esoteric and humanity’s sacred relationship to a living earth.
